Our Kitties Use a Lot of Litter!
PetSmart Gift CardPetSmart has an incredible offer right now. Buy $25 of ExquisiCat cat litter by August 21, mail in the rebate form with your original store receipt, and PetSmart will send you a $25 PetSmart gift card. That's right - $25 of your cat litter purchase is basically free! The rebate form is in the store near the cat litter or is available at www.petsmart.com. You may submit two rebate forms per household in separate envelopes.
PetSmart Litter DealEven if you don't have a cat or don't use this brand of litter, Every Creature Counts does! We would gladly accept any donations of this litter or the PetSmart gift card. ECC prefers the clay-type litter which is much less expensive than the scoopable litter; however, we accept donations of any kind of litter. Clay litter is easier for us to clean up in our kennels and cat cottages. You could make a great donation to Every Creature Counts and it wouldn't cost you anything! If you purchase the litter at a PetSmart where we have adoptable dogs and cats, please ask the store manager if the store will keep the litter for us to pick up. Be sure to mark it for ECC and send a short email to dogsandcats@everycreaturecounts.org to let us know which store is holding litter for us. If you take the litter home with you, please email dogsandcats@everycreaturecounts.org and we will make arrangements to meet you for a pick-up. Whether you use it for yourself or donate it to us, we wanted to share this great deal with you!

More Beer-tenders needed for Taste of Colorado!
Taste of Colorado 2011
We will have a beer booth at the Taste of Colorado at Civic Center Park in Denver over Labor Day weekend from Friday, September 2, through Monday, September 5. This is a fun event for volunteers and every volunteer shift raises money for ECC.

We need volunteers, 21 years and older, to pour beer for the following shifts: all shifts on Friday, 6 shifts on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. on, all shifts on Sunday from 12:00 noon on, and the Monday evening shifts. Please click on the volunteer schedule below and check your calendar to see if you can volunteer for a shift (or two!). Please email volunteer@everycreaturecounts.org with your desired shift and contact information.

Thank you for helping us with this fun fundraiser!

Gunther - Now

I adopted a beautiful Shepherd mix from you at PetSmart
in January. We love him so much and couldn't have found a better puppy. His name was Sebastian when we adopted him, but we changed it to Gunther.

Gunther is a wonderful dog and has adjusted well with us and his two kitties. He brings a lot of joy to our family.

Thank you!
Denise

I am a lovely, sweet girl who has been looking for a home for a long time. Although I only have one eye, I can see well and get around great. I am very low-key and would make a wonderful lap cat! I get along well with other cats...so sweet!

Every Creature Counts is a no-kill dog and cat rescue organization.  Our shelter is located in Fort Lupton, Colorado.  We adopt our dogs and cats out of many PetSmart stores in Denver and the surrounding metro area.  We also operate a low-cost spay and neuter clinic for dogs and cats and are always working on more services for our furry friends!
