Every Creature Counts update...Their King Soopers reloadable gift card is bringing in much -needed funding, and you don't have to do anything except load it with funds at the cash register. The corporation pays ECC 5 % of every purchase you make using the card. You can imagine how this adds up when lots of us use it. I've been using it for months. Your balance is printed on the register receipt so you can estimate when you need to fill it next.Check out the adorable cats and dogs needing adoption. I especially love the two black cats. And, read the happy story of a kitten adoption. Please circulate to animal lovers. ECC is in need of cat food. Thanks on behalf of animals everywhere,ValVal Traina vtraina2002@yahoo.com "Vivisection is a social ill, because if it increases human knowledge it does so at the expense of human character." - George Bernard Shaw "In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - George Orwell, 1984----- Forwarded Message -----

THANK YOU AND YOU AND YOU!We continue to be amazed by the support we receive from so many people. We appreciate everything that people do for us and we can't thank you enough! We are grateful for our donors, volunteers, foster parents, those who adopt our dogs and cats, those who use our low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services, and everyone who touches the lives of our rescue dogs and cats.
Thank you PetSmart for being such a wonderful adoption partner! PetSmart employees take care of our dogs and cats, help train them, and help them get adopted. We value your support! We appreciate our Facebook friends who responded so quickly to our urgent need for dry cat food last weekend! And, thanks to everyone who donated cat litter based on our recent e-newsletter requests. Thanks for being there for us!
With everyone helping as they are able, we can make a difference in the lives of homeless pets and help reduce pet overpopulation. Thank you all for everything you do to help us help homeless pets!
CAT FOOD SHORTAGEWe are currently low on our supplies of dry and canned cat food. Our Facebook friends really pulled through for us this week, making donations of cat food and money to replenish our shelves. We need to have more food in storage so we don't reach a crisis situation again. If you would like to donate dry or canned cat food, please ask your PetSmart store manager if the store will hold donated items for us to pick up. Or, call us at 303-546-2704 or email dogsandcats@everycreaturecounts.org and we will make arrangements with you. Thank you for your support!

HAPPY TAILS
With every new mom comes the belief that her baby is the best. :)Thanks for letting us adopt our new kitty. She is a little nervous but very sweet and she purrs a lot. It's a good thing I adopted her one week before the kids came home from vacation so she could get used to the house and our other animals.Everyday she comes out of her shell more and more and I can already tell she will be an real sweetheart. She is very vocal and meows constantly if I'm not cuddling or petting her. I have a broken leg so she has enjoyed sitting on me 24/7 since I picked her up. It has been over 19 years since I have had a kitten.
Our new kitten is good fun. Thanks again for letting us adopt her.

CALVIN11-month male Foxhound mixI have been at the shelter since I was very young and I'm hoping to find a nurturing home. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know you and feel secure, I am playful and loving. I love to go on walks and I also enjoy lying in the grass and having my belly rubbed. I get along great with other dogs, but would do best in a home without small children.JUNEBUG1-year female domestic short hair
I was transferred to ECC in early April from an overcrowded shelter in Indiana. I get along great with dogs and will adjust to other cats. I'm just as cute as can be and would love to finally have a home to call my own!
Still Looking for a HomeCHICO2-year male ChihuahuaI'm a tiny little guy with a lot of spunk. I run really fast and I like to play with small toys. I like to snuggle up and be loved! I'm a cute little lovebug and I don't understand why I haven't been adopted yet.
BABY BOOMER8-month male domestic short hairI am a kitten who likes to play and to snuggle! I am so much fun and would be a great addition to any family. I'm a purr machine! If you are interested in providing a forever home for these or any other ECC dogs or cats, please complete an adoption application at www.everycreaturecounts.org
