RMJfA- Fw: REDUCED ADOPTION FEES for cats

Monday, August 22, 2011

Every Creature Counts is hoping that people will consider adopting an older cat this summer. And, as an incentive, they are reducing their fees. See below.

Please circulate to trustworthy animal-loving friends and family, and ask them to do the same.

 HOPE FOR RESCUE CATS

Grimace 711
Late summer is a difficult time to adopt adult cats into loving families because there are so many kittens available. The kittens that were born in the spring are now ready to be adopted and our adult cats are often overlooked. To encourage people to consider adopting an adult cat, we are temporarily reducing our adoption fees for cats two years and older to $25 from Saturday, August 20, 2011, through Monday, September 5, 2011. The adoption fee for cats under two years and for kittens will remain $75. Our adoption fee covers the following services performed on all of our cats before adoption:
Spay/neuter
Rabies vaccine
Feline 4-in-1 combination vaccine
Microchip
Leukemia test
De-worming
Dental services, if needed

Cosby 711If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, please complete a cat adoption application on the link below. Email the application to cats@everycreaturecounts.org or deliver it to your local PetSmart manager for cats currently in the store. We are able to rescue more cats only when the wonderful cats that we currently have are adopted. Please consider adopting one of our adult cats and help us in our efforts to reduce pet overpopulation.

Angel 811ANGEL7-year old female cat
I am a petite kitty who is white as snow with beautiful sky blue eyes. I was surrendered by my family due to a divorce and I have been very depressed. I am great with dogs and would prefer to be the only cat. I love people, will follow you around like a puppy, and sit on your lap. You should hear me purr!
