There seems to be some confusion about VegFest. From this point on it
will be difficult for us to return calls and email or check FaceBook
so I hope this message answers all your questions. Please read the
following carefully. If you are a group organizer and you received
this personally, please share it with your group(s). Thanks!
DETAILS:
The event is in INDOORS and it's air conditioned (YES!) so weather
won't be a problem.
The event starts at 9 AM and goes until 7 PM. Doors open at 8:30 AM
so people can be seated for the first cooking demo that starts at 9.
The final musical act begins at 6:30 on the main stage (where the
cooking demos will be held during the event) and we will close the
event with DANCING! :-)
There are tables and chairs avaible in a couple of areas where people
can sit to rest, eat, chat, etc. There are also picnic tables so you
can take your food outside, if you like.
There will be some food sampling, BUT restaurants will be working hard
selling a variety delicious plant-based food so bring some cash and
come prepared to eat to your hearts content! VSC will be selling a
variety of oogavé sodas as a fundraiser, while supplies last, but you
might want to also bring your own water bottle.
There will be vendors selling a variety of items such as hand made
(vegan) jewelery, chia seeds, paintings, sprouting and mushroom
growing equipment, and much more, so there will be shopping
happening! Yessiree!!
At the moment, we are not planning to record the speakers so be sure
not to miss the speakers you would like to hear. There will be
schedules around the building, but you might want to plan ahead and
check out the schedule on the web site:

Dogs (except for service animals) are not allowed in the building, but
friendly dogs may be outside on the grassy areas around the building,
IF attended and leashes.
You can try calling our main VSC number or emailing, but I can't
promise I can get back to you before the event starts. I will do my
best.
