Judy,

Just as an FYI, we do have a temporary care program for homeless or hospitalized owners. The program is strictly for 30 days.  

We do not do long-term foster, which is usually what soldiers need.  There is (or was) a program called Operation Noble Foster, one of the good things that President Bush managed to produce, and you can look into it further at I believe operationnoblefoster.org

Our Lifetime Care Program is usually used for owners who have died and left their cats to us in their will.  A provision of the program is that they also leave us $2500.  However, I can honestly say that for $2500 we would take any cat any time!
