Beaten as a puppy, left to starve on the beach with puppies of her own, a rescue organization airlifted Millie and others to safety last week. The others were younger, cuter dogs. But none could possibly have Millie's personality!

I paid for her trip to Colorado. (My gift to Millie). She's house trained, spayed and has all her shots. About 4 years old. She has beautiful manners. Would do well anywhere!..even in an apartment or small house. Doesn't bark! She walks proudly on a leash, her tail never stops wagging. She loves everybody she meets including kids and other dogs.

But...she had a traumatic cat attack at some point. She is afraid of my cats, whimpers and rolls over crying when they pass her.  She shakes at their sight. She did okay on the beach in D.R. probably because the cats stayed away from her. But I have 3--in very close quarters. It's not fair to make this wonderful little girl afraid or unhappy for even another minute.

She wags her tail, rolls over for belly rubs and looks at everyone with those old soul eyes. Please help me find Millie a forever home. And please hurry. She wants so much to bond with human beings!
