Forgotten Felines Rescue invites you...
When: Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 3-6pm
Where: 270 Jersey Street, Denver
$10 donation at the door
Please RSVP to Linda at 303-399-5926
There are an estimated 150,000 homeless cats in Metro Denver. Forgotten Felines Rescue:
- Feeds feral colonies, collecting and storing food donations
- Traps cats and transports them to clinics to be spayed/neutered
- Sets up small shelters for feral cats to keep them out of the weather
- Fosters domestic cats and kittens for adoption
- Obtains medical care for cats with emergencies, e.g., one cat required amputation of its leg after getting caught in a fence; another needed amputation of its tail after it was partially severed. Both of these cats have been rehabilitated and are ready for adoption.
If you cannot attend, you may contribute in several ways. If you have an item that would be appropriate for a silent auction, even one that you would like to re-gift, call me (303-388-2615). You may also mail a donation to: Forgotten Felines Rescue, 3124 S. Parker Rd., Suite A2-607, Aurora, CO 80014.
If you know anyone who would foster and socialize kittens for a month or so before adoption, there is a great need this time of year. Kittens will then be placed for adoption. Please share this invitation with anyone you think may be interested!
The kitties will thank you!
