Subject: Denver: Support a Vegan Food Truck This Weekend
Date: Fri, 6 May 2011 12:36:43 -0400 (EDT)
       | | Dear Michael,
Seabirds, recently named one of PETA's Top Five Vegan-Friendly Food Trucks, is among the contenders in the Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race. Owner Stephanie Morgan and chef Raya Belna will delight diners with their 100 percent vegan food on Saturday, May 7, and Sunday, May 8, in Denver. The truck with the lowest sales will be sent home. The others will advance to the next round, moving to another city. This is a fantastic opportunity to show TV viewers across the nation how delicious vegan cuisine can be, but Seabirds needs the support of Denver residents this weekend!
From noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Seabirds will be at the Horseshoe Craft and Flea Market at W. 46th Avenue and Tennyson Street. From 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, the truck will be parked at Sweet Action Ice Cream at 52 Broadway. Seabirds' special menu this weekend includes a jackfruit "crab" cake sandwich, beer-battered avocado tacos, jackfruit soft tacos, and drunken French fries.
Follow vegan cookbook author Isa Chandra Moskowitz on Twitter (@IsaChandra) for up-to-the-minute details on Seabirds' location throughout the weekend.
Come out and show your support for Seabirds! Get some delicious food—and remember to tell your friends. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Tracy Habenicht Special Projects Coordinator People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals | | Click to update your e-mail preferences or to unsubscribe. This e-mail was sent by PETA, 501 Front St., Norfolk, VA 23510 USA.
