kellie thought this was the only offering, a vegetarian dish. that is not the case. the "regular" dish is one of baby animals and their excretions. i don't think this is pushing too hard by any means. it's taken 25 years for them to even bring on a vegetarian dish. in my opinion, they need to move a bit quicker to get with the times and be consistent with their goals and missions.

well i do appreciate the fact that their meal is at least vegetarian, in that at least they have taken the step from meat to no meat.  i think it might be easier to push them in the direction of veganism considering their stuff is already veg.  i will write to them.

this is all KGNU could provide when I requested if they could accommodate their vegan supporters at an upcoming fundraiser where they are charging $120 for a gourmet dinner- read- baby slaughtered animals and their excretions. they also deleted my comment on facebook.

please let them know that they lost potential supporters and that they should consider vegan options (at the least!) for future events, especially if they don't want to appear so fully and  totally hypocritical.
