More Furry Scurry - We Met Lots of Great Dogs!

Posted: 04 May 2010 12:40 PM PDT

I probably could write about Furry Scurry for the next month and just brush the surface of the event. It was astonishing! The announcer said there were over 5000 dogs, but I bet there were more. (last I heard they were pretty close to their $1mill goal! W00t!)

Here's a great picture from the newsletter, and a link to more pics - just imagine if only half of these devoted pet parents came to BlogPaws West!!!

A Keepsake for the Mom in All of Us

Happy Mom's Day a Little Early!

What we love, once we get to a certain point in our lives (like right after the first baby, or when the first grandchild is born), are mementos. This is a memento... a keepsake that Moms everywhere will treasure. A beautiful, customized bracelet with family photos in it: Keepsake-bracelet-for-Mom

Lisa Taron, who is a friend of mine, and someone who works very hard at her business, makes these wonderful bracelets. I recommend her and her business. (I finally met her IRL at the first BlogPaws! W00t!)

And, I have a wonderful customized book she created for us, so I can honestly tell you that if YOU  create your very own personal publishing project at her PetBook Lady site for your Mom, your Mom will love it. It doesn't need to be about pets (although we pet moms like it to be)...it can be about your kids, or your grandmother, or your favorite uncle.

The thing is - by creating a keepsake bracelet (or a storybook, poster, playing cards, canvas print...and more) at Lisa's site, using your very own photographs, you will be helping homeless pets. Lisa is donating her commission on these bracelets to help rescue groups.

She gets Be the Change - and you can, too.

All while making Mom's Day the best ever!

As you know, I'm all about helping the homeless - pets and people, alike. As we approach Mother's Day, I hope you'll hop over and watch Lisa's video, and hop over to her PetBook Lady site and consider a beautiful bracelet for Mom, GrandMom, or Auntie. (that's Lisa and her pup in this bracelet)

A gift straight from the heart. There is nothing better nor as long-lasting - especially when there are pictures of loved ones involved. This is marketing to women online at its very best!
