MyCarmie Are you a designer? Are you a pet lover? Are you a pet blogger? Well, if you're one or all of those things, I have a great opportunity for you. RomeotheCat, who spends his time keeping his pet parents on their toes (along with some help from his cohort, Pugsley), and also raising funds for shelters, is having a logo design contest.

Anyone who reads this is eligible to enter. I mean, if you feel you can design a great logo and if you're interested in the attention. Because, if your logo is chosen, you will get lots of attention!

Now, that's not all that's going on around the petblog world.

Over at Pawfun, BL Ochman interviewed our own Dr. Grace on pet obesity (see our podcasts on this topic in the Scratchings & Sniffings podcast category) and showed off the cutest picture on her blog post. Big take away - the reason so many dogs are overweight is because, "Dogs can't do it on their own," says Dr. Grace. "Owners are over-feeding." Oops - I do believe she is right. And, further along, as we go... a recent visit to Petcentric gobbled up about an hour of my time with all the new, great content there. I love the pet parent interaction and the pictures. Wish we could get some great pics to share here. C'mon, send up some stories and pics about your pet.
