For instance, my litter box has been moved. Now, seriously, that's a big offense and I've spent days trying to convey that to Mom, with loud wails and crying in the middle of the night (they don't like it when I do that, I know from past experience)...but, Mom has not put my box back. Oh, it's still in the closet - that big closet she uses. But, it's hidden behind some robes - as if she doesn't want anyone to know it's there. Hmph! I won't resort to using something else, I like my litter box. But, I wish she would put it back. The other thing that happened just the other day is that "the boy" - you know, I mentioned him before, he's actually been here since I was a kitten and I've been wondering what happened to him because he...well, he disappeared. The update is: he was back. He came over and rubbed my ears for me when he came in, then they all went in the eating room. I tried to ask him where he's been but he's not good with meows, not like Mom.
And, get this - I went downstairs (hardly ever go down there, I mean...it's full of stuff that doesn't mean much to me) and...the "stuff" is gone! The downstairs is all pretty and looks a lot like the upstairs! They call it a "family room" - to the people coming in and out. That's where they put the big talking box that used to be upstairs. I'm kinda glad about that because it got annoying having that loud thing interrupting my naps. Now, the upstairs is the "parlor" - whatever that means. To me, it means quiet. No big talking box! Somehow, I will figure out what's going on. Mom is more lovey-dovey lately, and I like that alot, but what does it mean? Hmmm...here's a thought...are we MOVING again? Oh no! I HATE moving! |
