Ok...here's the scoop - YOU, yes, YOU, can be the winner of a chance to host a "Chef Michael's® House Party™" next month.

A thousand - yep, 1,000, dog owners will be selected "to gather their favorite dog-loving friends (me, me!) and canine companions for a Sundy Supper party celebration for the launch of Chef Michael's canine creations."

This is a Purina sponsored event - but, of course! They do a lot of fun, incredible, and pet-friendly things all year long. According to Shaun Belongie, Chef Michael's Assistant Brand Manager, "Dogs are part of the family, and now they've earned a seat at the dinner table as Chef Michael's canine creations hosts the first pet-themed House Party dinner event for dogs and their owners."

The site tells me that hosts will receive a Sunday Supper Party Pack that includes:

Chef Michael's Samples
Party Favors and Decorations
Indoor/Outdoor Activity Kits
Doggie & Guest Gift Bags

So, here are the juicy details - On Sunday, August 16th, you and your guests [let's assume this means the winners] will bring a specially prepared "signature" dish to share and Chef Michael's will bring its favorite, thoughtfully-prepared dishes for your dogs. You'll be sharing the ritual of mealtime with your friends and everyone's furry friend, too. And, so they say, "if selected as a host, you'll be able to enjoy the 'dance of anticipation' as you introduce the dogs to Chef Michael's canine creations." Whoohoo!

Afterwards, everyone will swap recipes, play games and other activities, then top off the evening by taking a relaxed stroll with the dogs. Whew!
